Talking code, vintage WWII airplanes, and woolen mittens to dozens of standing-room-only rabid fans, multiple award-winning author, Elizabeth Wein (Code Name Verity) from Australia touched down at Once Upon A Time Bookstore in Montrose, California for the U.S. book launch of her much anticipated follow up and companion novel, Rose Under Fire.  Pictured above with thrilled staff from Once Upon A Time and those valuable woolen mittens.
